why should I hire a wedding planner?

for many couples, this is their first time planning a wedding, and they are unsure of where to begin and how to navigate the planning process. planning a wedding is not only about choosing your flowers, colors and menu. there are logistical matters to consider, such as the timing and smooth transitions of events and directing a team of trusted vendors.

what types of weddings do you provide services for?

fashioned events is proud to provide wedding services for all - civil, destination, double, eco-friendly/green, lgbtq+, and military weddings. we also cater to all religions.

my mom or family friend is going to help plan the wedding. why would I need a professional?

we feel very strongly that if you think enough of someone to invite them to your wedding, why would you want to put them to work instead of being one of the important invited guests enjoying the day? even if you have the planning under control, we recommend making the investment of a day-of coordinator to ensure that all of your hard work comes to life the way you envisioned.

because your fashioned events coordinator will have worked very closely with you through the planning process, you will have peace of mind knowing that everything will be handled with detail-oriented planning and seamless execution with a smile!

how many weddings or events will you be working on our event day?

we are still a small company, and will only schedule one wedding or event per day. each event is unique and special and deserves the full attention of your event coordinator and staff.

how many staff will be working my wedding? what are the staff expectations?

in addition to your assigned lead coordinator, you will have at least one additional day-of assistant. depending on the scope of your wedding and the number of venues, we will schedule additional wedding assistants.

all of the fashioned events staff will dress in professional black attire unless otherwise specified by the client.

since weddings can turn into 15+ hour days, vendor meals during your reception are requested. however, we will not eat during the guest’s dinner time nor will we sit at a guest tables. fashioned events is there to do a job, not to party at your wedding.

i have a specific idea of what i want my coordinator to do, but i don’t see a package that fits that. does that mean fashioned events cannot help me?

our packages are designed to include the services that are requested together the most often. they have been grouped to make shopping easier for the couples. we do also offer a portfolio of consulting and a la carte services. because our philosophy is based on boutique-style services, we are always able to custom-tailor a package to fit your needs.
